Founded by Troy Rogers, Scott Barton, and Steven Kemper in 2007, EMMI designs, builds and composes music for robotic instruments. We've created and begun composing for our first instruments, Poly-tangent Automatic (multi-)Monochord (PAM) and Multi-mallet Automatic Drumming Instrument (MADI), and we have a number of other complementary instruments on the way.
